The Aché Dance Collective

Open Audition & Information Session

Frankie Martinez is excited to introduce plans for a new, long-term performance collective! For the first time, he'll be bringing the long-form, concert-dance approach to choreography that became a hallmark of the professional Abakuá Afro-Latin Dance Company into a performance opportunity open to the broader dance community.

This new collective will offer dancers of all levels the opportunity to engage in an extended creative process, with an emphasis on dance training, personal and creative development, and a deeper exploration of the artistic potential of Afro-Latin dance through concert-style presentation.

We invite anyone interested to join us for a FREE Open Audition & Information Session, where Frankie will introduce the vision, discuss the anticipated commitment, and answer questions.

All levels welcome. No cuts or selection process.

This is an opportunity to learn more about the collective and see if the experience is right for you. Participation in the final performance will not be mandatory, although performers will be needed to bring the work to the stage.
